Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21, 2026, and several of Milwaukee’s most popular family attractions are offering free admission for dads and grandpas. Whether you’re looking for a day at the zoo, hands-on science exhibits, a museum visit, or a special family outing, here are some of our favorite Father’s Day events and deals happening around Milwaukee.

Milwaukee County Zoo: Free Admission for Dads & Grandpas

Looking to celebrate the dad in your life? Bring him to the Milwaukee County Zoo on Sunday, June 21 where all dads receive free admission, courtesy of Prairie Farms Dairy. Parking and other attraction rates still apply.

Spend time visiting the Zoo’s fathers, including Scimitar-horned oryx, Mercutio, who recently fathered three calves; Greater kudu Hasani; Bactrian camel Stan; and many other guest favorites.

Check out the Animals in Action schedule for Sunday to learn more about animals’ training or to see a feeding. Plan a stop at Powerful Pollinators presented by Meijer to explore larger-than-life animatronic pollinators and discover how the Zoo helps protect them through native gardens, honeybee hives and conservation initiatives.

The Zoo will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Father’s Day.

Milwaukee Public Museum: Free Admission for Fathers and Father Figures

Celebrate Father’s Day at the Milwaukee Public Museum, where fathers and father figures receive free admission on June 21.

Advance reservations are available by calling the museum, or free tickets can be claimed at the ticket window on the day of the event.

From the Streets of Old Milwaukee to the butterfly garden and dinosaur exhibits, it’s an easy way to spend a few hours exploring together.

Discovery World: Free Admission for Dads

All dads receive free admission on Father’s Day at Discovery World.

Families can explore interactive exhibits, freshwater science displays, the aquarium, and hands-on STEM experiences along Milwaukee’s lakefront.

Important: The Father’s Day discount is only available on tickets purchased in person at the admissions desk on June 21.

Harley-Davidson Museum: Dad’s First Draft & Free Museum Admission

Skip the crowded brunch reservations and head to the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Dads receive:

  • Free museum admission

The museum’s MOTOR Bar & Restaurant will be serving smokehouse favorites, making this a great option for families with older kids and teens.

Old World Wisconsin
