First Stage Theater Academy is the nation’s largest high-impact theater training program for young people! Our region’s finest professional theater artists share their expertise, skills, and passion for their art with over 2,000 young people this summer.
Students in grades K4-2 will utilize the Actor Toolbox of Voice, Body, and Imagination to bring popular books and movies to life, like Bluey, Winnie the Pooh, Dog Man, Marvel Superheros, and so much more!
Students in grades 3-12 will learn Acting, Voice and Movement, Musical Theater, Improvisation, and more in a fun and nurturing environment, fostering like skills through stage skills.
Half-day and full-day weekly sessions are available for students entering grades K4-12 in fall 2025.
Classes are located in Milwaukee, Mequon, Brookfield, Oak Creek, and Kenosha. The grade breakdown and dates are below:
Milwaukee – grades K4-12- June 16-August 8; Next Steps, grades 3-12-August 11-August 22
Mequon – grades 3-12- July 21-August 1
Brookfield – grades 5-12- July 7-July 18 and July 28-August 8
Oak Creek – grades K4-12-June 30-July 27
Kenosha – grades 9-12*by audition only*- June 30-July 25
