In case you needed something to celebrate, this Thursday, April 14th, 2022 is Milwaukee Day. (Get it? 4/14).
We found five great ways to celebrate with your family. Happy Milwaukee Day, everyone!
1. Cheer on the Brewers
The universe had its way, and the 2022 Milwaukee Brewers home opener at American Family Field falls on 4/14.
If you’re heading to the game, here are 10 Tips for Visiting American Family Field With Kids.
2.Sip on Craft Soda
Sprecher Brewery is offering brewery tours for $4.14. Tours are casual and family-friendly, and they last about 45 minutes.
You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the factory and learn about how they make their craft beers and sodas. At the end, you get to have a taste (four tasted of beer, and unlimited soda!).
3. Get a Free Cookie
The UW Credit Union is giving away free sugar cookies on 414 Day to anyone who visits a Milwaukee-area branch, including Wauwatosa, Mayfair, Franklin, UW-Milwaukee, Bayshore and more. The cookies are from Edible Impressions, a local, woman-owned company.
4. Head to the Harley Museum
The Harley Davidson Museum is offering admission for just $4.14 on Milwaukee Day. The museum is great for the whole family.
There’s plenty of hands-on fun for kids, and you can sit on the bikes at the end! They’ll be open late until 8:00 p.m. There will also be deals at the Motor Bar & Restaurant and in The Shop.
5. Get a Neighborhood Poster
Can’t celebrate this year but want to show your love for Milwaukee? Consider making a donation to Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee. It’s been identified by the Milwaukee Day organizers as a great cause to give to this year.
