Care Co. Babysitter Academy is Little Village Play Cafe’s 4-week babysitter training series for incoming 5th through 8th graders, and it’s exactly the kind of confidence-building program Milwaukee parents have been wishing existed.
Over four Monday afternoons, local experts walk middle schoolers through childcare foundations, first aid and CPR awareness, leadership and communication, and a final week of hands-on practice connecting with real Little Village member families.
Tweens go home with a babysitter starter kit, a certificate of completion, and the option to be listed in the Little Village Babysitter Directory once they finish the program.
Choose from three sessions starting June 15, July 13, or August 10, all running Mondays from 1:30 to 3:30pm in Wauwatosa.
