MKE With Kids Camp Fair

Looking for the best Milwaukee summer camps or overnight camps near Wisconsin? The largest camp expo in Milwaukee has that, plus hands-on kids’ activities and a live raffle!
Family Night at The Landing in Wauwatosa
📅 February 3, 10, 17, 24 | ⏰ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Every Tuesday night, The Landing hosts indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. Featured partners include Tosa Block Party+, Nugget Nation, Cloud 9 Workshop, Zoological Society of Milwaukee, and many more!
Kohl’s Thank You Thursday at Milwaukee Public Museum

ALL visitors (excluding groups) receive FREE access to the permanent exhibits of MPM on the first Thursday of every month during Kohl’s Thank You Thursday. Advance reservations strongly recommended, as walk-up tickets are not guaranteed.
Family Free Day at the Zoo
📅 February 7 | ⏰ 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Enjoy a family day at the Zoo — outdoors or in! On this day, all guests receive free admission (parking and regular attraction fees still apply). See Eastern black rhinos Kianga and Zuri in the new Ladish Co. Foundation Rhino Care Center, and say hello to Happy the hippo.
Winterfest at Urban Ecology Center – Washington Park

Celebrate the reopening of the Washington Park branch with sledding, carriage rides, winter hikes, and more, then warm up by the campfire with drinks.
Flannelpalooza (Wauwatosa)

Celebrate National Flannel Day with axe throwing, ice carving, a beard contest, and a best dressed dog contest, plus local food, drinks, and vendors.
Women & Girls in Science at King Community Center

Girls (and boys) can catch the “science bug” through hands-on activities, and learn about female STEAM pioneers and their important contributions to our world. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
Skate Nights

Andrew Douglas MS: 📅 February 20 | ⏰ 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Lace up your skates and grab your friends and family for a fun-filled evening on the rink! Open to ages 10-14 (ages under 10 must be accompanied by an adult). Bring your own skates, or rent some for free.s
Free Day + Celebration at Milwaukee Art Museum
📅 February 12 | ⏰ 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
This event provides free public access to the museum along with themed, hands-on art activities highlighting notable figures and cultural influences in Milwaukee history.
Community Access Day at Betty Brinn Children’s Museum
📅 February 19 | ⏰ 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
All guests (excluding groups of 10 or more) receive free admission to the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum on the third Thursday of every month.
Cedarburg Winter Festival
📅 February 21-22
Bundle up and enjoy ice sculpting, family activities, live entertainment, and festive fun throughout historic downtown Cedarburg.
STEM Expo 2026
📅 February 28 | ⏰ 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
This annual event features hands-on, educational activities designed to engage K-12 kids and fuel their interest in all things STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
Winter Break MKE at Havenwoods State Forest
📅 February 28 | ⏰ 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Enjoy fat tire bike rides, winter surfing lessons, nordic walking, and dog sled demonstrations, plus free hot cocoa and cozy bonfires with s’mores. Snowy conditions unlock even more fun, like snowshoeing and snow sculpting competitions.
