Spring break can be a challenge for working parents who need childcare while their kids are out of school. Fortunately, there are plenty of exciting camp options in the Milwaukee area that keep kids engaged, active, and learning while parents continue their work schedules. Check out this lineup of spring break camp options for 2025!

1. Camp Minikani: Spring Break Camp
- Location: Camp Minikani
- Dates: March 30-April 3, 2026
- Ages: 7-12
- Time: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Cost: $300 per camper (meals not included, campers must bring a nut-free bag lunch)
- Description: Skip the trip to Cancún and spend spring break enjoying outdoor fun with friends! Campers will learn archery, try boating, climb the rock wall or high ropes course, explore nature, and create arts and crafts. Registration is now open, and spots fill up fast!
2. Milwaukee Yard: FUN Camps!
- Location: Milwaukee Yard
- Dates: Throughout Spring Break
- Ages: Varies
- Description:
- This action-packed sports camp is ideal for kids who love to move! Activities include soccer, football, dodgeball, wiffleball, kickball, and more.
- With indoor and outdoor fields, play structures, and 2-3 field trips each week, this camp ensures kids stay active and engaged, rain or shine!
3. Wisconsin Humane Society: Barks and Blooms Camp
- Location: Wisconsin Humane Society (various locations)
- Date: Racine Campus: Thursday, April 9 | Friday, April 10 Ozaukee Campus: Monday, March 30 | Tuesday, March 31 | Milwaukee Campus: Thursday, April 2 | Friday, April 3
- Ages: Grades 1-6
- Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Description: Animal-loving kids will enjoy a day filled with crafts, games, and learning all about the Wisconsin Humane Society. Plus, they’ll get the chance to meet some adorable animal friends!
4. Urban Ecology Center Adventure Days
- Location: Washington Park
- Dates: March 30-April 3, 2026
- Ages: Varies
- Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Description: Adventure Days at the Urban Ecology Center give kids a chance to explore the outdoors with fun and engaging activities like fort building, scavenger hunts, and nature walks. Kids will get hands-on learning experiences while playing with new friends in a safe environment.
5. School’s Out Days (5-12)
- Location: Rite-Hite Family YMCA
- Ages: 5-12
- Description: No school? We’ve got you covered! While you’re at work, your kids will be busy enjoying themed activities, games, sports, arts & crafts, and more in a fun and engaging environment.
6. Adventure Rock: Spring Break Yoga Camp
- Location: Walker’s Point
- Dates: March 30-April 1, 2026
- Ages: 6-11
- Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Description: This 3-day yoga spring break camp offers yoga (poses, games, breathing and mindfulness practices), team-building games, a daily climbing session, and crafts crafts. Register for all 3 days to receive a discount, or register for one day only.
7. Mad Science
TBD for 2026: For hands-on learning and creative fun, check out Mad Science and Crayola Imagine Arts Academy at the 2Inspire Center in New Berlin! These engaging one-day camps are great for curious kids who love to experiment, build, and explore new ideas.
8. Danceworks School Day Off Workshops
Turn a day off from school into a creative adventure! Designed for kids in 5K-5th grade, these full-day workshops at Danceworks’ Water Street location (9 AM – 4 PM) offer an exciting mix of dance, theater, visual arts, and imaginative play. Each session features a unique theme, ensuring a fun and engaging experience while school is out.
9. Spring Break Academy – First Stage
Location: Milwaukee Youth Arts Center & Sharon Lynne Wilson Center
Date: March 30 – April 3, 2026
Ages: K4 – 12th grade
Cost: Varies by program
Description: First Stage’s Spring Break Academy offers theater-based camps and classes led by professional artists. Students will explore acting, improv, musical theater, and stage combat while building creativity and confidence. Options include week-long spring break sessions and weekend classes.
Youth Empowerment Week: Upcycling
Location: Walkers Point Center for the Arts
Date: March 31 – April 3, 2026
Description: This week‑long (4 days) series of workshops invites youth to explore identity, community, and self‑advocacy through creative expression. Participants will engage in upcycling and environmentally sustainable fashion projects, learning how to transform reclaimed materials into wearable art. Through multimedia, hands‑on making, youth will explore concepts of environmental justice, reciprocity, and collective care while creating pieces that center healing, creativity, and community.
Mosaic Spring Break Camp
Location: Mosaic Creative Studios – 3400 Intertech Dr Ste 200, Brookfield, WI 53045
Date: Starts March 30, 2026
Description: Mosaic is excited to offer 3 days of fun theatre days for students 5-12 years old during Spring Break! Join Mosaic friends and Ms. Sam for 1, 2 or 3 days of theatre activities. Camp days run from 9:00- 4:00 for $50 each day. Camp runs Monday March 30th through Wednesday April 1st. Students are welcome to join just one day or for all three! Camp runs 9:00am to 4:00pm. Students are asked to bring their own cold lunch. Each camp day is $50. Ages 5- 12 are welcome to join us for theatre spring break camp. During the day students will explore up to 5 different theatre classes.
