The Milwaukee Diaper Mission has partnered with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger for multiple years to help support families across Milwaukee. Their diaper and fund drives — often known as The BIG Give Back — bring awareness to diaper need and help provide essential supplies to local families.
Each year, the partnership highlights how important diaper access is for families with young children, and how the Diaper Mission works to meet that need with care, dignity, and community support.
Why Diaper Need Matters
One in three U.S. families struggles to afford diapers. When families don’t have the essentials they need, the impact goes far beyond the nursery:
- It can prevent children from attending early childhood programs
- It can cause parents to miss work
- It places tremendous stress on families already stretched thin
The Milwaukee Diaper Mission works year-round to distribute diapers, wipes, and period supplies through a network of local social service agencies.
How the Community Gets Involved
During seasonal diaper drives, families across Milwaukee can participate by:
- Donating diapers, wipes, training pants, and period supplies
- Dropping items at participating donation locations
- Supporting the Mission’s fundraising efforts

How to Support the Mission
Families can help throughout the year by donating:
- Disposable diapers and wipes
- Training pants
- Cloth diapers and cloth wipes
- Cloth diapering accessories
- Period supplies (pads, tampons, menstrual cups, cloth pads)
The Mission asks that disposable diapers be removed from cardboard boxes before being placed in donation bins.
