1. 2025 Holiday Floral Show: “The Twelve Days of Christmas: A Playful Parody”
The Mitchell Park Domes ring in the season with a whimsical new floral show, bringing the classic holiday carol to life with a botanical twist. Each verse of “The 12 Days of Christmas” is reimagined through clever displays, playful installations, and hundreds of vibrant poinsettias.
Show Dates: November 22, 2025 – January 4, 2026
Location: Mitchell Park Domes, 524 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53215
Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sunday & Major Holidays: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Last admission is one hour before closing.
Admission:
Milwaukee County Residents:
- Adults: $8
- Juniors (3–12), Seniors (60+), Students, Military: $6
- Children 2 & under: Free
Non-Residents:
- Adults & Seniors: $9
- Juniors, Students, Military: $6
- Children 2 & under: Free
Discount Days:
- $5 admission on the last Thursday of each month
- Free Sticker Wednesday: collect limited-edition holiday stickers (while supplies last)
2. Late Nights at The Domes (Open Until 8 PM)
Experience the Show Dome under twinkling lights—plus mini light shows on the hour.
2025 Late-Night Dates:
- Friday, November 28
- Tuesday, December 9
- Tuesday, December 16
- Friday, December 26
Hours: 9 a.m.–8 p.m. (last admission at 7 p.m.)
Light Shows: 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m.
Select nights include live music inside the Show Dome.
Live music on Late Nights:
- Nov 28, 7–8 p.m. – The Hissy Kits (Piano & Theremin)
- Dec 16, 7–8 p.m. – Cream City Hot Club (Jazz)
Included with admission.
3. Storyteller Santa (Free with Admission)
Santa will share stories and visit with kids during these special appearances:
2025 Dates:
- Nov 29: 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
- Dec 6: 12:30–2:30 p.m.
- Dec 13: 2–4 p.m.
4. Festive Concerts & Gnome Fun
Gnorman the Dome Gnome
December 13, 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
A lively folk-style holiday singalong with David HB Drake (aka Gnorman). Handmade instruments, classic tunes, and lots of kid-friendly charm.
44th Annual Christmas Concert: “Let There Be Light!”
December 21, 1–2:30 p.m.
Seasonal folk songs, traditional carols, and storytelling by David HB Drake.
Both events are included with admission.
5. Winter in the Tropics: A Family Fun Fest
December 30, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Take a break from the Wisconsin winter and enjoy:
- Tropical-themed crafts
- Games
- Activities for kids
- A warm, sunny atmosphere inside the Domes
