Featuring the Premiere of Artist Bites: Creativity That Heals, Food That Sustains Short Animation
Hosted by: Walker’s Point Center for the Arts in partnership with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin & Milwaukee Animator Marz Ezeji
Join us for the 13th Annual Youth Art Show at Walker’s Point Center for the Arts—a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and connection. This special event will showcase artwork created by students from our Summer Art Camp during the first 4 weeks of instruction.
As part of this year’s opening reception, we’re proud to premiere the original short animation “Artist Bites: Creativity That Heals, Food That Sustains,” a collaboration between Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and local animator Marz Ezeji. Available in both English and Spanish, the animation—and its accompanying community resource guide—introduces youth and families to local food support services in the Walker’s Point neighborhood.
This free, family-friendly community event will also feature:
A delicious foodscape curated by Bint Jamila’s Table
Creative and wellness workshops for all ages
Local organizations sharing resources for food access, health, and neighborhood support
