Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center! Since 1993, the second Saturday of May has been dedicated to migratory birds around the world. This year’s theme is “Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter”.
Join us in observing and learning about ways we each can make a difference for the migratory birds that live in our communities. We will host bird walks, interactive educational stations, a community art project, and will be recording our bird findings in real time on eBird throughout the event. The celebration will culminate with a special Raptor Saturday, featuring some of our migrating raptors.
