WOYC is a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, caregivers, teachers, families, and communities. Activities and Vroom® tips have been paired with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) daily 2026 WOYC themes./

Week of the Young Child Kick-Off Celebration

Join us for our fourth annual Week of the Young Child Kick-Off Celebration on Saturday, April 11th at ThriveON King!

  • Saturday, April 11th, 2026, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at ThriveOn King.
  • Bring your little ones for a kiddie-sized parade, hands-on make-and-take activities, sensory play, and more.
  • Explore a wide range of family resources, from ECE supports, regulation activities to books, food, and fun giveaways.
  • We are teaming up with partners across Milwaukee to make this a day of learning, playing, and community celebration you will not want to miss!
