Travel from Underhill, through the Wilderland, to the Lonely Mountain throughout “The Hobbit” with a story that captures imagination and magic at its heart during its run at the Racine Theatre Guild April 10 – 19, 2026.
 
Embark on a Middle Earth journey with reluctant adventurer Bilbo Baggins. Coerced by Gandalf to join a band of dwarves looking for their treasure, Bilbo finds himself leaving his cozy home and facing treacherous terrain, greedy goblins, and dangerous dragons. The battles are fierce, weather disgusting, and food never plentiful enough, and yet the search for the Precious continues on. What’s a Hobbit to do? Bilbo learns he has more to offer than he could have ever thought.

Based on the classic by J.R.R. Tolkien, “The Hobbit” was adapted to the stage by Patricia Gray.
 
Sponsored by SC Johnson, tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors (62+), and $15 for students (21 and under). Further savings are offered to groups of 12 or more.
