Autism United of Wisconsin and the Harley Davidson Museum have partnered to create a FREE Sensory Friendly experience for museum guests.
During this session, existing exhibits will be modified to reduce lighting and noise. With these modifications and a reduced capacity, individuals will have the opportunity to interact with exhibits in a way that best meets their sensory needs.
What makes these sessions sensory friendly?
Exhibits are modified with reduced sound and lighting.
A quiet space will be available to regulate or calm.
Signs will be placed around the museum to indicate no touch areas, interactive exhibits, and possibly louder zones.Extra headphones available around noisier exhibits
