(For everyone) Tie up your boots, round up the kids, and get ready to turn a regular day out into an outdoor FUNdraiser presented by the Rotary Club of Milwaukee! Your ticket isn’t just for a fun Saturday – it’s helping connect kids, families, and the whole community to nature year-round. 🌿

HKE MKE is our annual urban HKE through Riverside Park and the beautiful Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum.

Exciting kickoff in Riverside Park’s newest greenspace
Expect a fully urban nature HKE including paved, gravel, and woodchipped paths
Stop at Trailside Activities where you can get hands-on with nature and try fun activities together
Play HKE Route Bingo (yes, there will be a prize!) while you explore
Cross the finish line and enjoy the NEW encore celebration with a lively party including food, local vendors, cozy campfires, and outdoor games

This year’s NEW perks:

Every hiker gets their own eco-friendly Urban Ecology Center adventure journal – perfect for doodles, leaf rubbings, and jotting down all the cool stuff you discover.
Encore Celebration Station! End your HKE under the iconic stone archway with a cozy campfire, marshmallow roasting, bingo, Betty Brinn Wonder Wagon, and a picnic with friends.

Team Spirit Bonus: Gather 10+ family members, friends, neighbors for a team discount! Match outfits, make up a cheer, or just walk together and laugh the whole way. At the time of registration, you are only required to enter one team member’s information and will receive a Google Form to fill out once you know everyone on your team!
