
July 13: Fossil Hike, 4:00-5:00pm (South Entrance)
What does Lakeshore State Park have to do with Niagara Falls? Come find out and learn some Wisconsin geological history as you explore the Lannon stone lining the park searching for fossilized coral, trilobites, brachiopods, and cephalopods. Meet at the Park’s North Entrance, just west of Discovery World. All ages and abilities welcome, however hike will be along the rocks on a non-paved path so may be difficult for those with strollers, wheelchairs, or difficulty walking. Meet at the south entrance park sign. Coordinates to the meeting point are 43.029180, -87.895858.
