Event Series: Havenwoods State Forest 2026

autumn at Havenwoods State Forest Home & Habitat Fest

Join us on Saturday, May 16 to develop your skills and build confidence in nature during the Explore the Outdoors Expo at Havenwoods State Forest.

This event is open to the public and welcomes all visitors, regardless of outdoor recreation experience.

Learn more about some of Wisconsin’s most popular outdoor recreation activities in an open house-style showcase featuring hiking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, birding, foraging, climbing, camping, kayaking and universal recreation options.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up to try one of these recreation experiences through an immersive session of their choosing for a later date in the year. These immersive sessions will be held within one hour of the Milwaukee area, with low to no cost to those signing up.

There is no admission fee at Havenwoods State Forest. Campfire snacks will be available!
