Understanding medical, educational, and family supports after an autism diagnosis.
When a child receives an autism diagnosis, families often leave with more questions than answers.
What happens next?
Where do we start?
Who do we call?
What supports are available?
On Wednesday, March 11, St. Francis Children’s Center invites families, educators, and community members to join us for the next installment of our FREE EDtalk series: Navigating Autism Together – Part 2.
This continued conversation focusing on what happens after an autism diagnosis. Helping families better understand evaluations, medical and educational pathways, Medicaid and CLTS options, therapy supports, and real-life parenting experiences.
True to the theme, The Village Speaks, this event brings together a panel of professionals and lived-experience voices who understand the complexity of navigating autism services in our community.
Our panelists represent psychology, special education, behavioral health, disability services, and parent voice. Together, they will provide clarity, practical guidance, and honest insight into what families can expect and how to build a strong support system around your child.
