Milwaukee’s Annual Big Truck Round Up!

Red Arrow Park | Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11 AM – 2 PM

Celebrate National Public Works Week with a fleet of the City’s big rigs parked around Red Arrow Park. Kids will enjoy a unique opportunity to explore various trucks and meet the people who operate them!

Explore an expanded event footprint this year with more trucks, 1,000 free kid-sized construction hats and goodie bags, and the chance to meet and greet with two beloved “Hero Pups.” Featured equipment includes a front-end loader, road patcher, street sweeper, grapple saw, plow truck, trackless skid steer, two mounted horse patrol units, a BearCat tactical enforcement vehicle, bomb squad command post, fire engine, mobile Survive Alive House, bus, and library outreach vehicle. New this year, the City of Milwaukee’s forestry team will have a tree climbing demo and a $5 tropical plant sale.

To provide a quality experience for all guests, a sensory-friendly hour will be offered from 1 PM to 2 PM, at which time no horns or sirens will take place.

Rain date is Saturday, May 31 from 11 AM – 2 PM. Please note that vehicle appearances are subject to change.

Please note: Dates and times are subject to change, and occasionally events may be cancelled. Please check the event website to confirm the latest details.
