Happy Place Cooking Space is opening this June, and we’re hosting a modern-day barn-raising to help them cross that final finish line!
Join us at Art of Joy on Thursday, June 5 from 5–8pm for a special community celebration to support this incredible project — and the amazing women behind it.
Happy Place Cooking Space (formerly known as More Happy Kitchens in the Community) is a non-profit cooking school and all-ages, all-abilities teaching kitchen, in Cedarburg. Over the past year, Lauren and Sally have been building something beautiful — raising funds and designing a welcoming space that will nourish our community in so many ways.
This event is FREE and open to all — a reflection of the inclusive spirit that drives both of our spaces. Art of Joy will be matching the first $1,000 of your donations at the event, so we hope you’ll come ready to donate to our friends! They are so close to getting what they need for our gorgeous community, and we couldn’t be more proud and excited to support them — and you — in this mission.
We’ll also have LIVE MUSIC from 6–8pm with Karli Reisdorf, a cellist & singer-songwriter who blends fingerstyle cello with heartfelt vocals and storytelling.
