Join the Marcus Performing Arts Center and Milwaukee Downtown BID #21 for Rainbow Summer 2025, a week of free public performances, food trucks, activities, an interactive art installation, and more! Each evening features live music from regional and national acts, with special experiences for families throughout the week.

Explore LOST — a magical, illuminated exhibit where kids (and grown-ups) can wander through giant glowing flowers and plants, like Alice in Wonderland. These massive botanicals represent endangered and extinct species from around the world, blending fantasy with a message about protecting nature.

Please note, the art installation Lost has specific times that it will be inflated:

Family Day is July 19 at 3:00 PM: Family Day at Rainbow Summer Family Day at Rainbow Summer invites audiences of all ages to an afternoon of high-energy entertainment featuring family-friendly activities, two exciting performances from 4Stomp: What’s Next, an explosive acrobatics troupe, and Kid Boogie Down: Taylor Swift Dance Party.   • Friday, July 18 at 7:00 PM – Fool House: The Ultimate 90’s Party
  • Saturday, July 19 – Family Day
    • 3:00–7:00 PM: Soul Spin & Bubble Play
    • 3:15 & 7:00 PM: 4Stomp: What’s Next? (interactive circus show)
    • 4:00–7:00 PM: Kid Boogie Down Taylor Swift Dance Party
  • Sunday, July 20 at 2:00 PM – Milwaukee Police Band
