Dive into a summer of adventure, creativity, and discovery at Explorers Camp, for students entering 1st through 4th grade! Guided by enthusiastic and inspiring counselors, campers will build confidence, form meaningful friendships, and explore a full day of wide ranging activities. Each week is thoughtfully structured around a unique theme, with rotating activity categories like outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, sports, and team-building workshops. Activities vary throughout the week and across all nine weeks, ensuring that campers have the opportunity to learn something new.
Each week, campers participate in a special on-campus activity or an exciting off-campus trip centered on exploration, followed by time to debrief, celebrate accomplishments, and develop community. Join us for a summer full of adventures, new experiences, and lasting memories!
Week 1 (6/15 – 6/18 – four day session): Superheros Unite!
Week 2 (6/22 – 6/26): Magic, Marvels, and More! Camp includes a field trip to the Mitchell Park Domes.
Week 3 (6/29 – 7/2 – four day session): Winter in July!
Week 4 (7/6 – 7/10): Treasure Hunt! Camp includes a field trip to Discovery World.
Week 5 (7/13 – 7/17): Space Odyssey! Camp includes a field trip to Milwaukee Public Museum.
Week 6 (7/20 – 7/24): Wilderness of Wisconsin! Camp includes a field trip to a local fruit farm.
Week 7 ( 7/27 – 7/31): Into the Wild! Camp includes a field trip to Milwaukee County Zoo.
Week 8 (8/3 – 8/7): Olympics! Field Day at USM
Week 9 (8/10 – 8/14): Color Explosion Week! Camp includes a field trip to Milwaukee Art Museum and Wicks Park.
