What You’ll See
Costumes & Characters
One of the first things you’ll notice is how many people—performers and visitors—are dressed in elaborate Renaissance costumes. You’ll see knights, queens, peasants, fairies, pirates, and plenty of jesters.
You do not need to dress up to enjoy the experience, but it’s fun to see the creativity around every corner.
Shows & Performances
Entertainment is everywhere. With more than 15 open-air stages and 50+ performers, you can catch musicians, comedians, sword fighters, balancing acts, magic shows, and even a fire whip performance. The highlight for many kids is the joust, complete with cheering crowds and costumed riders.
Most shows are family-friendly, but you’ll notice that a few are marked PG-13 or R. Even some unrated shows include a few jokes that might go over kids’ heads—so just keep an eye on the schedule.
Artisans & Shops
Throughout the village you’ll find artisans selling jewelry, hand-thrown pottery, leather goods, art, children’s toys, and other handmade items. It’s a fun place to browse or pick up something unique.
Games & Old-Fashioned Rides
The Faire includes classic, human-powered rides like the Da Vinci Swing, castle slides, and catapult rides. There are also skill games—archery, axe throwing, and more.
Most rides run around $5 per person.
Season & Hours
The Faire runs Saturdays and Sundays from early July through Labor Day weekend.
Because dates vary slightly each year, always check the current schedule at renfair.com before planning your visit.
