Event Series: Schlitz Audubon Nature Center 2026

Exploring the Winter Shoreline

Saturday, February 7, 2026 | 10:00 am – 11:30 am

In winter, the beach transforms into an otherworldly landscape. Join Associate Director of Education AJ Grill in searching the shoreline for various ice formations, including ice-canos! Even if there is no ice, we will explore the beach and discover the wintery treasures along Lake Michigan.

This program is designed for all ages, children and adults alike. Children must be accompanied by an adult; each child and adult require a ticket. This program will take place both indoors and outdoors.
