Disconnect to reconnect. Create. Reflect. Be heard.
Soft Girl Reset is a monthly wellness and creativity series designed for teen girls ages 16–18 to slow down, connect with each other, and explore the real experiences of growing up in today’s world. Each session centers around a featured voice, a hands-on activity, and honest conversation.
We’ll talk self-perception, beauty standards, entrepreneurship, mental wellness, and more through a lens that’s authentic, empowering, and creative.
This month, we’re excited to welcome Ebony Ramey of Ebony Esthetics, who will lead a conversation around self-image, beauty standards, and confidence, sharing tips and insight from her journey as a beauty professional.
Afterward, participants will express themselves through a ceramic painting session led by Blk Girl Space. Not feeling the paintbrush? No worries — you can head outside for some fresh air and dive into a guided journaling prompt focused on personal reflection and self-expression.
We’ll end the day with “No Filter Needed”, an open group discussion led by Vibez Creative Arts Space, where attendees are invited to talk about what’s really going on — challenges, wins, needs, and goals. These conversations help shape future Soft Girl Reset sessions and the resources we bring in.
Because here, your voice matters.
Please note: These events are FREE to attend, but a $10 refundable hold fee is required to secure your spot. This will be refunded within 48 hours of attending. If you don’t show up, the fee will be donated to Vibez Creative Arts Space to support their community work. Can’t pay the $10 hold fee? No problem. Please email us at info@theuptownsociety.com to be added to the registration list.
