Come ride our 100 year old Chicago Elevated Cars, while also learning some Chicago railway history with National Park Rangers from Indiana Dunes National Park. Our fleet of Chicago, South Shore & South Bend railroad cars stopped at Indiana Dunes for more than 50 years.

We have six operating South Shore cars, originally built in the 1920s, plus three Chicago Elevated Cars and a recently restored Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee Car. National Park Rangers from Indiana Dunes National Park will be on hand to explain the history of the South Shore Line and the connection to our cars. 

Trains run on the hour from 10am to 3pm.
