The Shorewood Intermediate School and Brass Bell Music Store presents the annual “Kidz ‘n Konzert”, a family-friendly event at Shorewood Intermediate School at 3830 N. Morris Blvd. in Shorewood on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The event is open to all ages and the general public.

Pre-concert activities start at 3:30 p.m. and include crafts, face painting, and an instrument “petting zoo” in which children can see, touch, play and hear string instruments including violins, violas, cellos and basses. The Shorewood Intermediate School’s 90 orchestra students will perform a concert at 4:30 p.m..

These seventh- and eighth-graders, along with special guest sixth-grade orchestra, will entertain with a mix of classical and popular music, including music from Disney’s “Frozen”, an arrangement of Smetena’s “The Moldau”, and Irish fiddle music.

The audience is invited to bring a blanket to sit on the floor, up close, to “meet” the orchestra. Conventional seating will also be available. FREE admission, donations welcome.
