FEATURED: Wilderness Resort’s NEW Take Flight Theater to host THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Journey to the North Pole November 13, 2020 – January 18, 2021
Wilderness Resort’s NEW Take Flight Theater, with its enormous 65-foot by 45-foot screen, will be showing THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Journey to the North November 13-January 18. The film is a new, state-of-the-art experience based on the movie classic about a doubting young boy who takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole. Climb aboard with him as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of Santa never fades for those who truly believe.
*Please note, seating may be limited due to social distancing requirements as a result of COVID-19 precautions. Masks are required.

2. Festival City Symphony Holiday Pajama Jamboree

Join Festival City Symphony as it presents a physically distanced and family-friendly Holiday Pajama Jamboree concert at the Wilson Center! Featuring FCS Music Director Carter Simmons and guest MC, Miss Abigail Hanna, the orchestra will perform traditional holiday favorites, including “Frosty the Snowman,” “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker, and Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.” Geared towards children and their families, Festival City Symphony’s Pajama Jamboree concerts include narration to educate children about the music and instruments of the orchestra. Casual dress is encouraged, including pajamas, teddy bears, and blankets! Pajama Jamborees are best suited for children in K4 through fifth grade.
Milwaukee’s Festival City Symphony is a classical symphony orchestra that showcases area professional musicians. The Symphony’s mission is to extend the reach of classical music in the community with reasonable pricing, interesting themes, and informative formats that embrace people of all ages.
This performance is free to the public with a suggested $10/person donation! You may make your donation when you order or in person the night of the performance. All proceeds will benefit the Wilson Center and Festival City Symphony.
3. The Domes Holiday Show

See poinsettias like you’ve never seen before, showcased alongside the classic red and popular white are rare varieties in golds and pinks, as well as specialty poinsettias with ruffled bracts, and yellow and green variegated foliage.
The new reservation system and one-way routes let you enjoy the current show, The Tropical Dome AND The Desert Dome safely. Your reservation holds your timeslot, and when you arrive, you check in and pay admissions for your group. Wearing face masks is required. Maximum group size is 10 people.
4. ¡Espiritu Navideno con Cache MKE!
Friday, December 11th at 5:00 p.m.
Cecil Negron and Latin Musical Ensemble Cache MKE has been performing in the Midwest for over 20 years, making a major impact on the local and regional Latin music scene. With rich vocal harmonies, and a wide variety of navideño music with Latin American roots and flair, Cache will thrill audiences in this special virtual holiday performance!
5. The Nutcracker (Ages 6+)

The Milwaukee Ballet’s 40-year tradition of adding magic to Milwaukee’s holiday season continues withThe Nutcracker: Short & Sweet. This adaptation of the seasonal classic is specially crafted to maximize health and safety for in-person performances at Baumgartner Center for Dance. 6. A Christmas Carol (Ages 6+)
Due to City of Milwaukee gathering restrictions in-person performances forJacob Marley’s Christmas Carolhave been cancelled. Our fully realized production featuring, Lee E. Ernst, will be taped and distributed to a limited number of people on a first come, first served basis. The production will be available to view for $20 during the month of December. Proceeds from ticket sales will be used to employ and compensate artists involved in the production. Look for more details on how you can purchase tickets later this month.
