1. Voyage to the Deep (Milwaukee Public Museum)

Have you checked out the Milwaukee Public Museum’s new traveling exhibit yet? Voyage to the Deep tells a story of underwater exploration and adventure based on Jules Verne’s classic novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Designed for kids aged 2-10, the exhibit is family-friendly and highly interactive. Kids can roleplay as a submariner encountering all kinds of sea creatures, transporting them into a new world through an immersive experience, engaging displays and tabletops, and hands-on activities. 2. Neighborhood Toy Store Day (Ruckus & Glee)

Saturday, November 13, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Admission: FREE

3. Kids’ Night Out (Wisconsin Humane Society – Milwaukee Campus)

Friday, Nov. 12, 5-7:30 p.m.
Admission: $30

What better way to end the week than by making friends with other animal lovers and rubbing elbows with animal guests? Kids in grades 1-6 get to have an awesome time at the Wisconsin Humane Society while their parents enjoy a Friday evening to themselves. 4. Freaky Friday (Divine Savior Holy Angels)

Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 11-13, 7 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 14, 2 p.m.
Admission: Adult $15, students and senior citizens $12

This November, DSHA Theatre presents: Disney’s Freaky Friday. Based on the 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the beloved Disney films, this magical tale tells the story of an overworked mother and her high school-aged daughter as they swap bodies and try to figure out how to make things right again. 5. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Wauwatosa East)

Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 11-13, 7 p.m.
Admission: Adult $15, students and senior citizens $12

The Tosa East Players (Wauwatosa East High School Theatre Department) proudly continues a legacy of 80 years of excellence in the theatre with their presentation of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
