Maggie Joos always knew she wanted a career in the food industry, and she’s found her niche as owner of ‘The Real Good Life‘ based in Wauwatosa.
Each week, they deliver made-from-scratch meals to busy families who need a hand (or three!).
They offer a nutritious menu each week of creative entrees and healthy side dishes focusing on family favorites and seasonal ingredients.
The menu always includes a salad or soup, four entrees, a dessert and a selection of local extras like honey and snack sticks.
Everything is available in 1, 2, 4, and 6 portions, and the soup is available in 14 and 32 ounces. (The average price for a meal that serves four is $35-40.)
The meals are delivered straight to your home or office between 2 and 5 pm on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons. They come in an insulated cooler bag with a reusable ice pack. You don’t even have to be home to receive your delivery.
Where other meal delivery services require subscriptions, ‘The Real Good Life’ has an A La Carte plan. And, the dishes are ready to pop in the oven. There’s no prep work required.
You’ll find at least one vegetarian, dairy-free, nut-free, and gluten-free option on the menu each week.

The Real Good Life has a team of employees based in Milwaukee, who are all part of families like their customers – moms, dads, and pet parents alike! Maggie currently lives in Fox Point.
