Spreading the Light: Hanukkah Events for Kids Happening in 2020

1. Out of the Box Chanukah

Ages: 2-12

December 10, 2020 12-5pm

Pick up at Chabad of the East Side 3133 N. Hackett Ave

What better way to kick off the holiday than with a great party? Sign up for your FREE Chanukah party on the go! Each Chanukah kit comes with a delicious donut, dreidels, gelt, 2 Chanukah crafts, and a Chanukah trivia game. Enjoy your party at home, or send one to a friend!


2. Car Menorah Parade & Grand Menorah Lighting

December 13, 2:30pm

Leaves from Peltz Center for Jewish Life, Mequon

It’s time to hit the streets! Join a 100 car Menorah parade to light up Milwaukee. Meet at the Peltz Center for Jewish Life in Mequon and get your goody bag to go. We will loop the city, and end off with a grand Menorah lighting and celebration at the Shul Bayside, all from the safety of your car. The parade is not to be missed-it’s an incredible experience for all ages!

3. Chanukah Pajamukah

Hey kids! Tonight is just for you! Get into your coziest pajamas and join us around the fire for a night of fun! Enjoy some Chanukah bedtime stories, and an awesome show by master illusionist Glen Gerard. Go to to join.

4. Fireside Concert

It’s the final night of Chanukah, and we won’t let the holiday end without a bang. Gather round your candles and join us for a fireside concert by local band Marbin. End off your Chanukah on a high note! Go to to join.
