The holidays are a truly magical time, especially when you see it all through the eyes of a child. From holiday lights displays to Santa sightings and sleigh rides, there’s something festive happening everywhere you turn!

1. Be Dazzled By A Holiday Lights Display

With the days getting shorter, there’s something truly magical about driving around to look at holiday lights this time of year – for kids and adults alike!

Whether you decide to take in the beauty of the season from the warmth of your car or while strolling in the crisp winter air, the kids are sure to delight in the spectacular holiday lights displays we found.

2. Season to Sparkle

Head to Bayshore on Friday, November 19, for the 2nd annual Season to Sparkle Holiday Celebration (5-7 p.m.). The Yard sparkles and shines with new festive décor while you enjoy lively entertainment from The Rhythm Kings, live ice carving and holiday ice sculptures, The Tap Yard, food trucks and more. Bring the whole family for some holiday fun!

3. Write and Mail a Letter to Santa

Santa is placing his bright red mailboxes all over town for your children’s letters and wish lists. Make your list, and check it twice! Some letter writers even get a special reply from Santa’s elves! Don’t forget to check out the lights displays, shopping and other festivities nearby.

4. Visit Santa in Person

Santa has landed safely in Milwaukee! We’re keeping track of all the stops he’s making around Southeastern Wisconsin. From shopping centers to Santa’s Workshop and everything in between, the big guy in red is making his rounds this time of year, and you should have no trouble spotting him.

5. Attend a Holiday Event or Experience

Milwaukee has never been merrier, and there’s plenty of family-friendly events to choose from during the holiday season.
