15 Pumpkin Patches You Can Visit in 2020

Happy pumpkin picking season! There are more than a dozen pumpkin farms in the greater Milwaukee area, offering pick-your-own pumpkins, corn mazes, tractor rides, and more.

Below, we've indicated what each location offers, and what their safety measures are this year.

1. Apple Barn Orchard and Winery

The pumpkin patch opens October 3rd, 2020! There will be food trucks and live music to celebrate.

Safety measures: Due to social distancing requirements, they will not be offering tractor rides through the orchard, and the jump house, fire truck, and outside games will not be available for use. Please bring your own wagon.

2. Barthel Fruit Farm

Starting in early October they'll have already picked pumpkins and a pick your own pumpkin patch. They offer a variety of pumpkins including pink, white, multi-colored, edible, and more.

Pumpkin Fest started on September 19th, 2020! Basse's is one of the largest pumpkin farms in Wisconsin, with over 40+ fun fall activities for the whole family. Explore Happy Jacks Pumpkin Land at Basse’s Pumpkin Festival. Enjoy a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick-your-own perfect pumpkin, challenge yourself in the 8 acre corn maze (A-Maze-ing Cars!), and more. You can also purchase your fall decorations like indian corn, corn stalks, straw bales, small and giant pumpkins, squash, gourds, and more.

4. Bear Den Petting Zoo

The pumpkin patch at Bear Den Petting Zoo opens October 2, 2020. Visit the animals, enjoy a hot apple cider or a hot cocoa, and a caramel apple with all your favorite toppings.

5. Borzynski’s Farm & Floral Market

Borzynski's Farm & Floral Market has a corn maze adventure, a children's play area with giant corn box and mini maze, hayrides, pumpkins, petting farm and make your own caramel apples.

6. Cedarburg Creek Farm

This family owned and operated business offers a pumpkin patch, kid's straw bale, a corn maze, and more. There is no admission fee.

7. Cozy Nook Farm

Choose from over 40 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds, squash, Indian Corn (both large and mini) and Broom Corn. Their pumpkins grow in all shades of orange plus the white (Cotton candy and Luminas), the big whites called Full Moons (50 pounds and larger), green Jaharradles, the tan New England Cheese and the bright red Cinderellas. The gourds come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

Creekside Valley Farm is family owned and operated specializing in Hay and Pumpkin sales. Spend your day exploring the farm or find your perfect pumpkin in the pick your own patch. Get lost in the corn maze or spend some quality time with the farm animals.

9. Elegant Farmer

Visit the famous smiley face barn for their Autumn Harvest Festival, including a pumpkin patch, pony and hayrides, and more! Saturdays & Sundays through October 25th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Safety measures: They ask that everyone please wear your mask, stay 6 feet apart, cover your coughs & sneezes and wash/sanitize your hands often during your visit.  

10. Jim’s Pumpkin Farm

Open every day 9-6, with free admission. Take a coaster wagon to a nearby pumpkin patch to pick out your pumpkin. Pre-picked pumpkins, gourds, squash & autumn decor, Stuff a scarecrow, and themed photo opportunities. Cash and check only. No cards accepted.

11. Lammscapes

Fall activities at Lamm Gardens include a pumpkin patch and hayrides, and a fairytales in the garden theme this year.

12. Land of the Giants Pumpkin Farm

Family-run farm with thousands of pumpkins, free admission & free parking, and play area. Plus, feed the goats, alpacas, and pot belly pig.

13. Lindners Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze

This year, they're offering pumkings, corn stalks, gourds, straw bales, fall decor, and canned jams and jellies. The petting zoo and corn maze are there, too!

Safety Measures: This year, the Big Backyard playground and Pumpkin Express Barrel Train will not be open.

14. Meadowbrook Pumpkin Farm
