This snow no-show business has really thrown us Milwaukeeans for a loop. Here are some ways to enjoy winter even without nature's typical snow cover.
1. The Rock Snow Park in Franklin makes their own snow.

You can ski, snowboard, and tube to your heart's desire on their artificial snow. They have 18 lanes of open tubing! Check their website for pricing and hours.
2. Check out the Ice Bars in the Historic Third Ward.

Guiness World Record holder Man Zuleta sculpted three signature ice sculptures located at Cafe Benelux, St. Paul Fish Company, and The Wicked Hop. He used 150 blocks of ice weighing 23 tons. MKE Ice Bars return to the Historic Third Ward on Friday, January 18* (*weather permitting - no snow required, but it has to be cold)! #mkeicebars
3. Go ice skating in Red Arrow Park.
Slice of Ice at Red Arrow Park is open with or without snow. Enjoy the downtown scenery on an ice skating rink that's actually bigger than the one in Rockefeller Center. You can skate for free if you have your own ice skates, or rent a pair inside the warming house. There's even an on-site Starbucks to enjoy some hot cocoa.
