Milwaukee is well known for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and a strong German heritage. This Labor Day weekend, "Hawgtoberfest" will combine both for the celebration of 115 years of Harley-Davidson.
Hawgtoberfest is an outdoor, free festival running for three nights in Heidelberg Park in Glendale, home of the longest-running midwest Oktoberfest.
The first ever Milwaukee Kid’s Rally will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30th at the Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W Lexington Blvd. Glendale, Wisconsin 53217).
Children will be able to experience the Harley-Davidson enthusiasm first-hand. Families will see the bikes, meet the bikers, and enjoy a special parade of motorcycles. Activities such as face painting, a Kid’s DJ Dance Party, special children’s meals, crafts, games, and activities will expose children to the Harley-Davidson “fever”.
Families can also take advantage of $5.00 kid's meal with a prize.
The entire community is welcome for the entire weekend, which will includes traditional German music and food, polka dancing, special brews, and more.
The grounds are covered, so you can celebrate rain or shine.
