Each year during the last weekend of July, the Museum of Wisconsin Art campus transforms into a vibrant canvas filled with artwork, music, fun, and fare.
Art & Chalk Fest 2018 is a free, outdoor festival taking place next weekend, Saturday, July 28 from 9:00–5:00 and Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 10:00–4:00. The Museum of Wisconsin Art is located at 205 Veterans Avenue, West Bend, WI 53086.
The festival is *free* AND you can enjoy free museum admission for the weekend!
Your kids will be mesmerized by 17 chalk artists from across the nation creating masterpieces before your eyes. You can vote for your favorite design, too!
Families will also love the art activities tent, where kids can create their own art projects and chalk their own masterpiece.
There will also be a juried selection of over 65 Wisconsin artists selling their work, including, ceramics, fiber art, fine art, jewelry, leather, mixed media, photography, wearables, and wood.
Inside the museum, you can check out the special exhibit "Joy Ride: Designing Trek and Daniel Gerhartz: The Continuum of Beauty exhibitions".
If you get hungry, there will be a Food & Lakefront Brewery Beer Garden with local food vendors .

There are also a few spaces left in MOWA's Chalk Art Camp (ages 8 and up). The camp takes place July 24, 25 & 26 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Professional chalk artist Janet Tombros will teach chalk art techniques and the many ways to use chalk as a medium. Attend one, two, or all three days of camp:
