Two kite festivals happening in May


Kite flying is the ultimate spring activity. Get outside with your kids at these local kite-flying festivals:

Lynden Sculpture Garden

2145 W Brown Deer Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53217

Saturday, May 5 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm

Free to members or with admission to the sculpture garden.

Kite makers, flyers, artists and art lovers of all ages are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring with an afternoon of events and activities. Drop in to the studio to make and decorate simple, earth-friendly kites. Radical Jewelry Makeover will be on hand to sell recycled jewelry in their pop-up shop. Expect additional artist-led activities, as well as treats.
