#2. Milwaukee Comic Con

Saturday, February 24th

10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Wisconsin State Fair Grounds (Wisconsin Products Pavilion)

Adults: $5 / Kids 12 and under: FREE (Plus every person gets a free comic book at the door.)

The Milwaukee Comic Con is taking over the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds this Saturday. This comic book and pop culture event will feature over 300 artist tables, vendor booths, and special guests, plus cash prize cosplay contests, and video and table top gaming tournaments.

#3. Live from Good City Hall: Ms. Jen and Ms. Rachel (Free!)

Saturday, February 17 from 10:00am – 11:00am

Urban Ecology Center at Riverside Park (1500 E Park Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53211)

Join Good City Brewing as we welcome back Ms. Jen and Ms. Rachel and their kindie-rock sounds and rhythms to Good City Hall! Because of the overwhelming turnout at the show held earlier this year, we have made several improvements to enhance everyone’s experience.

Doors will open at 9:45am and the concert will begin at promptly at 10am in Good City Hall. Food and drinks will be available for purchase starting immediately at 9:45am. The adjacent taproom will be open promptly at 9:45am to provide additional seating. Parents can hang out while kids take in the show. We will have both of our kitchens open to cut down on wait times for food.

#4. Tapping The Sugar Bush

Riveredge Nature Center (4458 County Hwy Y, Saukville, WI 53080)

February 24th from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

​$5 per non-member; FREE for all members

Pre-registration required! Help us prepare for the sugarin’ season by tapping the maple trees in Riveredge’s sugar bush. We need people to drill the holes, tap in the spiles and hang the buckets. When it’s maple sugarin’ time, spring can’t be far behind!

#5. Kid Boogie Down

Children Ages 1 & older: $10 each Adults and babies under 12 months old: FREE!​

Join in for a superhero costume dance party! Live music/video show by DJ Lukewarm complete with lights, lasers, bubbles, and more! Snap a selfie by our superhero style backdrop, get custom printed kid apparel by zouzouni mou and get a chance to get free prizes! Costumes encouraged!
