Winterfest at the Urban Ecology Center (FREE!)

Saturday, January 27th from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Urban Ecology Center (Washington Park) - 1859 N. 40th St.

Enjoy winter activities like sledding and ice skating on the Washington Park lagoon. There will also be arts, crafts, homemade pie and science activities.

Winterfest for Afternoon Nappers at the Urban Ecology Center

The morning version of Winterfest is designed exclusively for children 5 and under accompanied by an adult. Enjoy a craft, hike and puppet show, and still get home in time for an afternoon nap. Registration required. Please register all children. Space is limited. ($5/member $7/nonmember)

Winter Carnival at Lynden Sculpture Garden

Saturday, January 27th 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Lynden welcomes winter with a day of outdoor art-making, studio activities, scavenger hunts, hikes and parades, and whatever other winter activities--ice skating, painting the pond, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Free to members or with admission to the sculpture garden. Prices for nonmembers: $9 general admission and $7 students & seniors. Kids under 6 are free. Family passes for nonmembers will be available at the door for $20.
