About Me

Hi, I'm Calie!

I started MiltownMoms.com in April of 2013 and my mission is to make it easy for parents to find kid-friendly fun in the Milwaukee area.

I believe Milwaukee is a great place to raise a family, and I'm passionate about spreading the word. Parenting is no easy task, but I hope the website helps your family make joyful memories together.

I live in Glendale with my husband, three kids and two dogs. I love comfortable sweatshirts, Kopp's milkshakes, and getting rid of things in my house.

What you'll find on MiltownMoms.com:

Check out the Events Calendar, Weekend Guide, and Local Guides. I only include high-quality, kid-friendly events on these pages. Let me know if something is missing!

I just started developing a new Just For Mom section. Enjoy!

Subscribe to our e-mail list to get the Weekend Guide in your inbox each week.

And, check out my digital download "250 free things to do around Milwaukee with kids".

The "why"

The *deeper goal* of MiltownMoms.com is to inspire people to be an active part of our city and community.

I like cozy, simple days around the house more than anyone. But I also want Milwaukee to be a vibrant and healthy place for my family to live. And that means that every once in awhile, I need to go out and be a part of it.

I'm really proud to provide a place for families to discover the inspiring organizations that enrich our lives and make Milwaukee better.

Each year, MiltownMoms.com makes donations to the Guest House of Milwaukee, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
