The final Tribute Tuesday Concert of the season will take place on Tuesday, September 11th in Cutler Park in Waukesha (321 Wisconsin Avenue).
The event is free and open to the public, and there’s free parking available.
Family activities and concessions start in the park at 6:00 p.m. Kids can check out the fire truck and emergency vehicles, play on the playground, and interactive Born Learning Trail in the park.
The event will also pay tribute to military and first responders. The Greater Milwaukee Fire & Police Pipes & Drum Corps will play at 6:15 p.m., and the Waukesha Police Department, Fire Department, and Waukesha Allied Veterans Honor Guards will march into Cutler Park at 6:40 p.m.
American Legion Riders will ride through Waukesha, beginning at 6:20 p.m. at Lowell Park, and ride down Madison to Clinton, take Clinton to Main St., go past Veterans Park, turn left on Wisconsin Ave., and then encircle Cutler Park where they will join the 9.11 remembrance.
Eliminator, A ZZ Top Tribute band, will play from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with favorites like “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs”.
Food and beverages are available for purchase. Carry in of alcoholic beverages is not allowed. Per City ordinance, dogs are not allowed in Waukesha Parks.
