1. Spring Children’s Book Fair

Join us at this NEW event and discover books that will teach kids about key environmental issues and inspire them to find ways they can get involved in activities that make the world a better place. 2. Family Outing to Kohler Arts Center / Kohler Andrae State Park (Ages 5 and up)

3. Milwaukee Museum Mile Day

All five locations offer free/reduced admission, free guided tours, some offer refreshments (while supplies last), kid’s activities and raffles at each museum. Free Shuttle and Parking – Bus runs continuously every half hour between all museums beginning at 11am from Saint John’s On The Lake and ending at 4pm.

The Gardens are officially open for the season! Mother’s Day is the perfect time to take a stroll through the gardens with the whole family. The Gardens offer free admission to Milwaukee County residents with proof of residency on the first Tuesday of each month, May through September. Check their website for the most updated information.

Free on Thursday, May 3rd for all visitors.

(Residents of Milwaukee County receive a $2.00 discount on general admission everyday with proof of residency.)
15. Free admission to the Milwaukee Art Museum
Free to all visitors on Thursday, May 3rd from 10:00-8:00 for all visitors. Check out an art pack and explore the galleries, or visit the Kohl’s Art Generation Open Studio. The museum is always free for kids 12 and under!
16. Free admission to Betty Brinn Children’s Museum
Free to all visitors on Thursday, May 17th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. for Neighborhood Night. Join in for free admission, enjoy access to all of the Museum’s hands-on exhibits, and stop by the Be A Maker space to find tools, materials and techniques for endless ways to experiment and create.
17. Shakespeare in Love Floral Show at the Domes (Free admission on Monday mornings)
Enjoy free admission to the Domes on Monday, May 7th, 14th, and 21st (not 28th) for Milwaukee County Residents with proof of residency.
