Since 1927, Milwaukee has been celebrating the Christmas season with the Milwaukee Holiday Parade. Don't miss the cherished tradition, happening Saturday, November 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The parade begins at the corner of Kilbourn Avenue and Astor Street and continues on Kilbourn west to Old World 3rd Street where it turns south on Wisconsin Avenue. The parade officially ends in front of The Shops of Grand Avenue on the corner of Old World 3rd Street and Wisconsin Avenue.
You'll see over 100 parade units, including 15 award-winning bands, gigantic holiday floats, 40 foot helium balloons, live animals (including camels!), local television and radio personalities, dignitaries, Ronald McDonald and the Racing Sausages, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, and of course, Santa Claus.
If you want to stay cozy at home with some hot cocoa, live TV coverage on Fox 6 begins at 9:30 a.m.
