Did you know that Milwaukee Irish Fest is the largest celebration of its kind, anywhere in the world? Irish Fest will enliven Henry W. Maier Festival Park with the sights, sounds, and tastes of Ireland from August 17-20, 2017.

Collect stamps for your Pirate Paddy Passports at stops throughout the festival grounds, while making crafts and gathering prizes at each stop. Passport stops include the Cultural Area, Tipperary Stage, Celtic Canines and more.
Parades begin at the north end of the grounds, starting Friday at 6:45 p.m., Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4:00 p.m. You'll see the Celtic Canines, pipe and drum units, monks, nuns, fairies, pirates, vikings and more.Leprechaun Village
Explore tiny structures including a workshop, pub, performance stage, and bank vault. Search for gold and join the Leprechaun Kids Club to win prizes. The displays also contain interesting educational facts about leprechauns.Children's Area
Just beyond the rainbow, check out Lili-Putt mini golf, the Lego/Mr. Potato Head Area, crafts, Highland games and prizes at the Pot O' Gold. Explore the Children's Cultural Area on the playground, including a Children's Tea Room, the Irish Discovery Zone, and interactive demonstrations at the John Byrne Stage. There will be family-friendly entertainment every day of the festival.
Leprechaun Coloring Contest
Explore the wonders of water in the Greenwish Village. Use your personal power to pedal a bike and make a sailboat race, examine local water bugs, and play recycling ring toss. Games for kids also include Trash Art, Leprechaun Launch and the Recycling Fishing Wall. Take a picture of the whole family in the photo booth area, and learn about how we use and conserve water in Milwaukee.
Children's Tea Room
Participate in arts and crafts, and enjoy story time and snacks!
Celtic Canine Area
See and pet some of Ireland's most popular dog breeds, meet and talk with the Midwest's top breeders, and learn about grooming, general care and training. In the demo area, check out hourly events that demonstrate obedience, agility, hunting and conformation.
For traditional Irish fare, try bridies, sausage rolls, shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and a variety of stuffed baked potatoes. For a sweet dessert, try Bailey's cheesecake, shamrock cookies or Irish cream puffs. You can also purchase other types of ethnic food such as Italian and Chinese. Most of the permanent building booths also accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover credit cards.

Fests Feed Milwaukee - Anyone donating a non-perishable food item by 11 a.m. will receive free admission to the festival. Patrons are welcome to attend the Mass beginning at 9:30 a.m. and will receive free admission immediately following. Those donating food who choose not to attend the Mass will receive a hand stamp valid for free entry at any time that day during regular festival hours (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) or are welcome to remain in the designated section of the South Gate. Ward's and Claddagh will open at 9 a.m. to provide breakfast. All non-perishable food items will be donated to Hunger Task Force. Military Day - On Sunday August 20, veterans and military personnel receive free admission, plus one guest. Must provide a valid proof of service at any gate ticket window to receive your free tickets. Thank you for your service to our country.
