Join Mayor Tom Barrett in this timeless tradition–the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree on Market Street. Special guests include Santa and his reindeer!

The stage is set for the city’s biggest and brightest holiday party! Help turn on more than 500,000 lights throughout downtown! Local acts will charge up the crowd with spirited numbers.

Once the crowd is powered up, downtown’s lights and a fireworks spectacular will illuminate the night. After the show, free Jingle Bus rides will take guests past downtown’s newly lit scenes.

Cookies and cocoa are free at the Kick-Off Extravaganza! Snag yours and cozy up with the family to take in the show.

Bayshore Town Center Tree Lighting & Celebration

Join the fun Friday, November 16, 2018 for the Tree Lighting in Town Square. It all begins at 6:00pm with the North Division High School Drumline performing on the stage in Town Square followed by a parade with Santa! The parade starts at Fountainview Drive and ends on Centerpark Way at the back of the stage. Twenty proud members of the Patriot Brass Marching Band will lead the parade, followed by the Mayor of Glendale in a horse-drawn carriage, and reindeer pulling Santa in his sleigh. Complimentary cookies & hot chocolate will be available in Town Square while supplies last.

55th Annual Christmas Parade in Downtown Waukesha

The parade has been a holiday tradition for over half a century! It brings together local civic groups, businesses, schools, public services, and amateur and professional entertainers each year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to officially begin the holiday season for thousands of excited spectators.

The Pfister Hotel’s Annual Tree Lighting Event (Free!)

The Pfister Hotel’s tree lighting ceremony is one of Milwaukee’s most celebrated and anticipated traditions, offering a magical experience for guests of all ages. Featuring an 18-foot LED lighted holiday tree, the festive event includes complimentary holiday treats, music, hot cocoa and more. Parents are invited to bring their cameras, as Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving at 5:20 p.m. on a Milwaukee Fire Department fire truck to greet guests and pose for photos.

Guests will be encouraged to write letters to Santa and drop them in Santa’s special mailbox, which he will take back with him to the North Pole. While the actual tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m., the other activities will extend to 6:30 p.m.

To support those in need during the holiday season, The Pfister Hotel will be collecting food for Hunger Task Force and encourages guests to bring non-perishable food items. This event is free and open to the public. Enjoy complimentary parking with any purchase.

Whitefish Bay Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting (Free!)

Held each year on the Friday following Thanksgiving, the Holiday Stroll includes a parade, tree lighting ceremony, food, music, and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a free pony, train, or trolley ride, visit Santa and his reindeer, and cross things off your holiday list.

The seasonal celebration features a parade with music, Dancing Grannies, racing sausages, Alaskan Malamutes, scout troops, media, and Santa in his sleigh pulled by Cupid and Vixen. It’s an evening not to miss!

The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Kent Avenue and Silver Spring Drive, heading east on Silver Spring Drive ending at Lake Drive in front of Sendik’s. The parade lasts about 45 minutes.

Each Christmas, you’ll find a magical tree lighting in Catalano Square (which is actually a triangle shape – go figure), live reindeer, chestnuts roasting on an open fire (really!), horse drawn carriage rides, costumed characters, hot cocoa, and more. You can visit with Santa in Jolly’s Outdoor Gingerbread House, too.

New Berlin Christmas Parade

The parade is organized by the Prospect Lions Club and the route will run along National Avenue from Coffee Road to Malone Park. (163rd & National Avenue). The Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the New Berlin Lion’s Club,will follow the parade at Casper Dr.& National Ave.

Visit WebsiteThe West Allis Christmas Parade is an annual holiday tradition, and the only night-time Christmas parade in Southeast Wisconsin. Enjoy marching bands and live performers, creative floats and vintage vehicles, meet elves, cartoon characters, and of course, wave to Santa Claus himself at the end of the parade! This year’s theme is “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” a rollicking, rocking, rolling celebration of the season! The Parade will be marshaled at the 81st Street (Gate 2) State Fair Park entrance. The Parade will proceed east on Greenfield Avenue to 70th Street, then south to Orchard Avenue.

Christmas on the Avenue begins at 2:00 p.m. and features children and family activities, crafts, games and more. Festivities will conclude at 3:30 p.m. Christmas caroling and the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the West Allis Centennial Park Plaza on 76th and Greenfield Avenue.
