Show Dome Re-opens with free admission – The Show Dome will reopen to the public at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30th. There will be no admission on Friday. There will be discounted admission after Friday.
YMCA Healthy Kids Day – Come join in at the Healthy Kids Day this Friday, April 29th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the West Suburban YMCA in Tosa. This free event promotse a healthy, active and fun summer for kids and families. Check out the Wauwatosa Fire, Police and Health Departments, Wheel & Sprocket, Tosa Farmers Market, Meier, Wauwatosa Public Library, Marquette Dental Group and many more! Free t-shirt give away to the first 50 people!
Arbor Day Plant a Tree Event – To celebrate Arbor Day, Waukesha County is planting over a 1,000 tree seedlings in our parks. Help Waukesha County Park System plant 1,000 tree seedlings to celebrate Arbor Day. Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to noon you can help reforest a county park in your community. The entrance fee will be waived for those participating in this event.

Great American Cleanup – Come to Havenwoods State Forest on Saturday, April 30 from 9 am – noon and make your part of the earth a little cleaner this spring by picking up litter on streets, in parks, and along waterways. They’ll provide garbage bags and work gloves. Litter picker-uppers will receive gift certificates from local sponsors!
Casey & Friends Storytime – The Brookfield Public Library is hosting author Holly Dufek for a storytime reading of Planters & Cultivators, the newest addition to the “Casey & Friends” children’s series. Combining real action photos with bright illustrations and a cast of cartoon equipment characters, Planters & Cultivators teaches kids (ages 4-8) the science behind planting and growing the food on their tables in a fun and factual way. Follow Tammi the Tiller, Evan the Earlier Riser Planter, and Peter the Patriot Sprayer as they work together to make this year’s crop bigger than ever.
Animal Feeding at the Urban Ecology Center: Come one, come all! Help feed the Center’s resident turtles, snakes, fish and more, this Saturday, April 30th at the Riverside Park and Menomonee Valley locations at 1:00 p.m.
