Cooking with kids: Hawaiian Style Breakfast Sausage Sliders (Sponsored)

Do you have a child who loves to help you in the kitchen?

Would you like to introduce your kids to cooking?

Or, do you need some ideas for a delicious and simple Mother’s Day breakfast?

I’m so glad Johnsonville, my favorite Wisconsin-based sausage company, shared their Hawaiian Style Breakfast Sausage Sliders with me.

I like this recipe because while it’s pretty simple, it adds an unexpected twist with the tropical pineapple flavor. And, we had lots of fun with the pineapple:

The sliders are super easy to prepare (even my four year old could do it!), and they make for an out-of-the-ordinary breakfast.

I used these fully cooked turkey sausages, but they’re available in the original recipe as well.

We heated up the fully cooked patties in the microwave, then buttered and broiled the perfectly soft and fluffy hawaiian rolls.

Finally, we assembled the sandwiches with sausage, whipped cream cheese and pineapples.

That’s it! And they’re sooooo delicious.

These are perfect for a special breakfast in bed this Mother’s Day – because your kids can do it all for you! They’re ready in literally one minute, and are full of flavor.

Wouldn’t you love to wake up to something like this?

These fully cooked sausages are also great for breakfast sandwiches on the go. (They offer patties and links!) Like many of you, I’m all about convenience during the work week, so fully cooked anything are right up my alley.

I love that this recipe helped us make memories together, but that it wasn’t super complicated.

Thanks again to Johnsonville for this easy and delicious breakfast idea. My husband is especially appreciative! 😉
