Free Pajama Jamboree for kids at the Marcus Center this Wednesday

Festival City Symphony will host a free, one hour classical pops concert geared towards kids and families this Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Bradley Pavilion of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.

Each year, the organization holds three of these "Pajama Jamborees", and this month's concert will have a holiday theme.

Hosted by Education Director Jayne Perkins, the show will include lively, seasonal holiday music, narration, and a sing-along.

The programs tend to be interactive, sometimes including dancers, costumed actors, and children’s performing groups. In the past, audience members have even gotten to conduct the symphony themselves.

Dress is casual, and pajamas and teddy bears are encouraged for kids.

Bring a blanket to snuggle up on the floor directly in front of the orchestra. Regular seating is also available.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food donation for Milwaukee’s Hunger Task Force.

Pajama Jamborees are best suited for children in K4 through fifth grade.
