The November 21 USS Milwaukee Naval Ship Commissioning is right around the corner. The 390-foot-long ship – the fifth and fastest ship to be named Milwaukee – will enter service in the Navy on Milwaukee’s beautiful Lakefront and tickets are free!
The USS Milwaukee (LCS-5) will be commissioned in her namesake city, in the state she was built, among the hands that built her. Of the five ships named Milwaukee, the USS Milwaukee (LCS-5) ship is the only one built in Wisconsin.
The commissioning starts at 1:00 p.m. in Veteran's Park (following the Milwaukee holiday parade), and will be followed by a party in Veteran’s Park.
Tickets for the USS Milwaukee (LCS-5) Commissioning can be purchased for FREE here.
