Trainfest is back this November at Wisconsin State Fair Park with nearly 25,000 modelers, families, and train fans of all ages at America’s Largest Operating Model Railroad Show.
It doesn’t matter if you are a train hobbyist, or if you don’t know the first thing about them (like me). Behold the sight of over 230,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space featuring over 70 scenic running railroads, expert craftsmen at work, and a Kids’ Activity Zone filled with family fun.
This year the Kids’ Activity Zone, designed for kids ages 2-12, will feature a Make ‘n Take Clinic, the Choo Choo Bob Show, wooden train tables, a lego play area, storytimes, photo frame crafts, and more. Learn everything about trains to be recognized as an official Trainfest Junior Engineer. (How cute!)
Your kids can also take a ride on the Milwaukee Light Engineering Society train on nearly 600 feet of track.
All activities are included with your Trainfest Admission ticket.
