Attention parents with Minecraft-loving kids!
Super League is the world’s first in-theater video game league for kids, and it’s coming to the Bayshore iPic this October.
This 6-week after-school enrichment program leverages Minecraft on a big screen for a social, fun, and interactive learning experience.
Minecraft is known for its educational value, but Super League takes it one step further by assigning participants to teams of 4-7 where they work together towards a common goal, and compete in a recreational setting. The organizers are promising “brain food for the kids”!
Starting October 6th, Super League Gaming is hitting major movie theaters in the Milwaukee area to bring together gamers. Most players are 6-18 years old, but all Minecraft players are welcome. All games will begin at 4:30pm and tickets are $80 per season pass if purchased before September 30, or $100 after September 30.
The price includes six sessions of Minecraft, a free Super League jersey, and prizes to top scorers. Parents can sit with their gamers for free. Gamers bring their laptops, but some will available for use.
This is a great opportunity for parents to get their gamer kids out of the house for a night of interactive gaming.
Below are the dates and theaters that will be hitting the Milwaukee area next month:
Tuesdays, October 6 – November 10th at 4:30 at Bayshore iPic in Glendale
Wednesdays, October 7 – November 11th at 4:30 at Tinseltown Theater in Kenosha
